About the NGO

Savitri Bai Phule Samajik Seva Pratistan is a non-profit government organization under the Society Registration Act of 1860 and Mumbai Public trust act 1950. Form the last 6 years. The organization has been dedicated to the betterment of women and small children in the community through projects such as Abhaysikha, Women empowerment, activity school and community areas, adolescent projects, and community development. The organization implements various activities to bring about better changes in the living conditions of women and underprivileged groups through capacity and skill development. It works to organize, inform and build the capacity of women and adolescent girls to address health issues, violence and safety. Entrepreneurship based skill development to increase income, launch various courses which will provide employment opportunities to women girls and disadvantaged groups. E.g.Nursing Courses, Tailoring, Service Industry etc. Providing referral services to assist persons with disabilities, eg. Educational services etc. We offer free nursing training and tailoring classes for women, as well as free tuition for small students in rural and slum areas. They also provide books and clothes to needy and poor students in our working areas.
