Women are the backbone of our society. From delivering multiple roles effortlessly every day to being the pioneers of change, women make our lives liveable! i2u Social Foundation is organizing Women.Social.Impact on 8th March 2022, an event in honour of all those women, who make countless efforts to leave their impact on our society and in our lives.
India's leading one-of-its-own-kind NGO support ecosystem, i2u Social Foundation invites you to participate in the virtual event, Women.Social.Impact - Celebrating Women & Their Social Impact. Coinciding with Women's Day on 8th March, the campaign focuses on Sustainable Development Goal SDG 5 - Gender Equality.
The campaign Women.Social.Impact encourages the participants to acknowledge #HerImpactStory, and to contribute #OneDayForFuture, encouraging citizens to help make society a more liveable place by contributing their one day for social causes.
The event for the campaign Women.Social.Impact will see participation from corporate houses, government bodies, donors, volunteers, NGOs and various stakeholders acknowledging and recognising the impact created by Women in our lives.

Ride for a cause
Bicycle Ride Challenge
i2u Social Foundation invites individuals, companies, and institutions to participate in the Ride-For-a-Cause (Bicycle Ride Challenge) fundraiser to support NGOs focused on empowering women. Bicycle riding is a great workout that helps you stay healthy. But the benefits of Ride-For-a-Cause (Bicycle Ride Challenge) aren't limited to just helping you reclaim your fitness. Joining us would also enable you to contribute to NGOs focused on women empowerment and making the society a more livable place.
- Registration lines for Ride-For-a-Cause (Bicycle Ride Challenge) will be open until 6th March 2022.
- All the participants need to share the screen shot of distance covered from the popular cycling apps Strava or Garmin on the number shared with you after the registration.
- All the participants who register for Ride-For-a-Cause (Bicycle Ride Challenge) will receive immediate tax saving certificate. Participants registering for 50 KM challenge will receive Certificate (hard copy) + Bronze medal. Particpants registering for 100 KM challenge will receive Certificate (hard copy) + Silver medal. Participants registering for 150 KM challenge will receive Certificate (hard copy) + Gold medal + Trophy.
- Those participants who enrolled for 150 km challenge and clock higher than 200 km will also be eligible to apply for participation in panel discussion.
- Participate in this fundraising while enjoying your bicycling at your own pace, location no bar. All you have to do is share the snapshots of the kilometres covered from your registration date till 6th March 2022. You may use popular cycling apps like Strava or Garmin.
- This is also an excellent Employee Engagement Activity to promote fitness and social cause engagement among the employees. How?
Note: Significant portion of your registration fees will go to the NGOs winning the contest chosen by the i2u panel of judges for their remarkable work done in the field of women empowerment.
NGO
Please follow the below easy steps for registration:
- Register your NGO to attend the event by filling up the necessary details. Please make sure the mobile number and email id you mention on the form is accessible to you, as we will be sharing important announcements and campaign details via the same.
- There is no registration fee for Partner NGOs to i2u Social Foundation. NGOs not yet partner of i2u will have to pay a nominal fee of Rs.365/-. As a complimentary gift, you'll be on-boarded with i2u as our Partner NGO. To know more about the benefits of being i2u's Partner NGO, Click Here.
- You can also submit your entry to participate in the contest. There's no participation fee for this .
- Registration for the contest is extended till 3rd March, 2022

Jaydeep Mandal is a leading figure in the Menstrual Hygiene & Health sector globally having innovated and created the first ~100% compostable sanitary napkin patented & certified as per International Compostable Standard. Jaydeep is protege of the National Innovation Foundation of the Department of Science & Technology of the Govt of India. He is an important contributor and advisory member of the Bureau of Indian Standards Committee for new standards for Sanitary pads published in Oct 2019. He features in the select group of PMO & Niti-Aayog's "Champions of Change". Jaydeep has won Bio-based materials of the year award 2019-Germany, Global Bioplastics Award 2018-Germany for Compostable Anandi pads which are treated as Oscars of Bio-Industry & a patent on Compostable sanitary pads using indigenous materials. Jaydeep has 15+ years of experience in menstrual hygiene, rural innovation and micro-enterprise development as an entrepreneur, consultant/advisor. His work is acclaimed by several governments, World Bank, UN organizations, UKAID, USAID & International NGOs like Aga Khan Foundation, President of India, CII, FICCI, UN, Miss World Organisation and Miss India Organization for innovation and entrepreneurship in the menstrual hygiene sector. -

Abhishek Sharma
Abhishek Sharma is a strategy & management professional in the impact sector. Corporate Social Responsibility is his domain of work, with rich experience in end-to-end Program Management and Communications. Presently supporting HCL's CSR mandate as Senior Officer, he has worked on several socio-economic development projects in rural hinterlands as well as urban settings across the country. Donning many hats – development practitioner, public speaker, trainer, theatre enthusiast, Abhishek is a certified Policy Analyst and Program Evaluator by ILR School, Cornell University. Currently based out of Delhi, his academic training lies in Development Studies and Economics.

Our panel of esteemed judges will go through submission of each contestant to select 3 NGO Winners. Results will be announced during a LIVE ceremony on Women's Day- 8th March 2022, between 12-1 PM
Prizes & Giveaways
- The 3 NGO winners will be chosen by our panel of judges.
- The winning NGOs will be rewarded by the corporate houses and the participating volunteers in Ride-For-a-Cause (Bicycle Ride Challenge) .
- Ride For a Cause winners will receive donation receipt, hard copy of certificate (gold, silver, or bronze), and a donation receipt.
