Toilets for Change: Naari Trust’s Gift of Health and Dignity to Schoolgirls

When Naari Trust was constrating on tribal and rural school's and got a request from BEO of the Narasipura Mysore district that girls high school in the Narasipura Mysore district lacks a toilets,

When Volunteers of Naari Trust visited the school they were taken by surprise that in a taluk that to behind Beo office has only two toilets for 300 girl student's,

when questioned about it the head mistress said in pain that she has written at least 20-25 request letters that all went in vain.

When the volunteers asked the students they say they get embarrassed to stand in queue and sometimes it takes more than 30-40 minutes and many of them said they hold there urge till they go back home in return many of the girls are facing health issues.

Immediately with the help of ELLUCIAN company CSR and other funds Naari Trust built 12 toilets and 6 urinals with grilled gates and also built 300 feet of compound with the 7ft height so that people travelling on road can't see girls walking to toilet's, it was one of the most satisfied and worth living project of Naari Trust and the Volunteers were so happy and satisfied to see the girls happy and safe.
