The day saw HLI employees and the children of Samarthanam give the Samarthanam School a fresh new look. A musical performance by the children rounded things off nicely. The evening ended on an appreciative note for all, as mementoes were presented to participants to keep the memory of the day fresh in their hearts.

Crystal Hues Limited,NoidaSpectrum was a one of kind transgender awareness workshop organized by i2u and Crystal Hues ltd. in association with Dr. Anita Prasad and the Tweet Foundation. The event placed emphasis on diversity and inclusion in our society. Attendees got to interact with members of the transgender community. They were educated about the difficulties the community faces to this day and the stigma associated with them by society. The event was concluded with a creative contest participated in by all those present, symbolizing inclusivity and togetherness.

Student Empowerment Program
Munirka, DelhiHitachi Lift India Pvt. Ltd. teamed with CHERO India and took into account the importance of student empowerment. i2u Social Foundation is grateful to Hitachi Lift India Pvt. Ltd. for being the support partner in our partner NGO Centre for Education & Health Research Organization kids participated in the drawing competition. 22 of the ones needing imminent help were sponsored for a month in terms of arranging their meals, stay, and studies. The event was filled with joy for Hitachi representatives as well as kids entertained everyone through their wonderful performances.

Specs distribution drive for kids
Sanjay Colony, Deepalaya Learning Centeri2u Social Foundation, in association with Dr. Shroff's Charity Eye Hospital, conducted a specs distribution drive for kids at the Deepalaya Learning Center. Earlier this month, i2u and Dr Shroff's Charity Eye Hospital conducted a free eye screening camp for kids at Deepalaya Learning Center. More than 80+ kids were screened out of which a few were diagnosed with refractive error. i2u gifted them spectacles to help correct their vision. Since it is Christmas time, a jovial Santa distributed specs among kids along with other gifts.

Free Eye Screening Test
Delhi, Indiai2u Social Foundation, in association with Dr. Shroff's Charity Eye Hospital, celebrated Children's Day by organizing a pediatric eye screening camp under Project Prakash at Deepalaya Learning Centre located in Delhi. 175+ children were screened during the camp, leading to 3 children being referred for further examination and 8 children being diagnosed with refractive error. The cost of eyeglasses recommended to children would be borne by i2u.
