About the NGO

ADHAR is a grassroots level non-governmental organisation, has been working in Odisha and Madhya Pradesh for 31 years. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act and Section 80G, 12A of IT Act., CSR 1 of Company Act. and FCRA to receive Foreign Contribution. The organisation aims to empower women and children from backward and deprived communities to improve their lives and livelihoods. ADHAR do this through comprehensive intervention on education & skill development, livelihood, health & nutrition and Climate resilience, these integrated approach built capacity of communities, empower them socio-economically and promote a climate friendly sustainable community. ADHAR has been able reach out to 0.5 million families to brining about positive changes in their lives.
