Hingonia Cattle Rehabilitation Center Managed by: Sri Krishna Balaram Seva Trust
About the NGO
Hingonia Cow Rehabilitation Centre, managed by Shri Krishna Balram Seva Trust, stands as the largest facility dedicated to the welfare of stray and accidental cattles. Our center is instrumental in enhancing road safety by preventing accidents caused by these animals. Since partnering with Nagar Nigam Jaipur in 2016, the number of cows under our care has surged from 6,000 to over 18,000+. Every day, the Jaipur Municipal Corporation ambulance delivers 50 to 60 stray, accidental, old, and diseased cows to our facility. Many of these cows suffer from severe internal damage due to ingesting non-degradable materials like polythene, leaving them in critical condition.
Our devoted team of 15 doctors and 20 compounders work tirelessly, treating these cows and providing critical care in our ICU. Our mission is to protect and shelter abandoned cows, striving to offer them a better life through sustainability, renewability, and self-sufficiency. As a non-profit organization, Shri Krishna Balram Seva Trust is guided by full-time Hare Krishna Movement missionaries and supported by Jaipur Nagar Nigam.
