KALARAGINI Trust: Empowering Women and Unleashing Hidden Talents
KALARAGINI Trust, a selfless organization dedicated to empowering women at the grassroots level, has initiated a transformative mission called Saksharta aur Sakshamta ka Prayas Path (Path of Literacy and Empowerment). This mission aims to uncover and nurture hidden talents within small villages and underprivileged sections of society. Founded by Rajni Madhadia, the Trust has been actively involved in service-oriented initiatives since its establishment in 2017, focusing on skill development programs to empower women and provide education to children from marginalized backgrounds.
The primary objective of the Trust is to create a platform where women can enhance their skills, gain confidence, and become self-reliant. Through various skill development programs, women are equipped with practical knowledge and expertise in areas such as vocational training, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. These initiatives not only enable women to improve their socio-economic status but also empower them to make independent decisions and contribute meaningfully to their families and communities.
Domestic violence poses a significant problem in migrant families, often exacerbated by factors such as a lack of education and the father's drinking habit. However, efforts are being made to tackle this issue and provide assistance to those affected. One crucial approach is counseling, which aims to support and empower individuals within these families.
By offering counselling services, professionals work closely with the affected families, providing a safe space to discuss their concerns and challenges. Through open communication, they help individuals understand the dynamics of domestic violence, recognize its impact, and explore strategies to break the cycle of abuse. Counselling sessions also focus on building self-esteem, enhancing coping mechanisms, and fostering healthy relationships within the family unit.
