About the NGO

Pelag Foundation was founded on 05-01-2023 by two energetic youth activist girls who came together with the objective of improving & upgrading communities in the Uttarakhand region and other region of India. They also realize the necessity of this establishment as a means contributing to development community' s need which has been the driving force and motivation. Since its incorporation Pelag Foundation has been expending continuously in term of social development services. It is working for the promotion of sustainable, equitable & participatory development, social welfare, health services, promotion of sports and other welfare activities. Its Mission is to reach out to the marginalized section of the society, specially focusing to the women, children & Youths of the needy section of the targeted area. Empower underprivileged community about gender & their rights prospective through community participation for sustainable development. Its Vision is to Endeavors to evolve innovative approach and process to utilize the traditional skill and knowledge based to make development project more efficient and eco-friendlier.
