About the NGO

Saaraakassh, an inspiring NGO founded in October 2015, operates with the profound Beeja mantra, Shiva Bhave Jeev Seva, which encapsulates its essence &ndash service to humanity. This dedicated organization is on a noble mission to bring smiles to the faces of those in need. Saaraakassh's vision is a heartwarming one, aiming to spread joy and make a positive impact on the lives of countless individuals. They have demonstrated their unwavering commitment by starting with daily Annadanam to slowly start to adopt one village and today are reaching out to 11 Adivasi villages, where marginalized communities reside, and have touched the lives of approximately 2500 people.

We are currently working in the below 11 Adivasi villages : Mhasrundi, Karpatwadi, Pejwadi, Jhadghar, Banachiwadi, WAgh dagad, Shisewadi, Bhoirwadi, Dongarwadi, Fangane, Dhasai. Most of these villages are 100 to 125 km from Mumbai. In a world often marked by inequality and adversity, Saaraakassh stands as a beacon of hope and compassion. Their remarkable work encompasses a wide range of initiatives, from education and healthcare to community development, all geared towards uplifting the underprivileged and making their lives better.

The roadmap for each village is to work on

Sanitation by way of toilets, soak pits, etc.,

Health &ndash through Ayurveda medical camps on a monthly basis.

Education &ndash by supporting with material & and mentoring ZP school children.

Empowerment &ndash by focusing on creating self-help groups for projects on sewing, farming, creating a market for their produce, etc. for better sustainability.

Better lives by projects like Solar lamps, repairs of ZP schools & and Anganwadis, assistance on better farming models, facilitating government schemes, etc. Saaraakassh's journey of service and transformation is a testament to the power of a simple yet profound mission. As they continue to expand their reach and touch more lives, their impact on society grows stronger, serving as an inspiration for us all
