Sahyadri Shikshan Sanstha, founded on June 15, 2002, is rooted in the meaning of Sanstha &mdash faith. With unwavering commitment, we have been actively serving society through a variety of impactful initiatives. Our organization, governed by seven directors, is government-recognized and holds certifications such as 80G, 12A, and ISO.
At Sahyadri, we conduct numerous programs focused on health, social awareness, and community welfare. These include eye check-up camps, disease diagnosis and treatment, tree plantation, cleanliness drives, and public awareness campaigns. We celebrate International Women' s Day, organize Haldi-Kunku programs for women, and work towards raising awareness about the rights of disabled children. We also engage in charitable acts such as food and clothing donations to the underprivileged, and provide guidance and counseling to adolescent girls.
In response to the COVID-19 crisis, we supported the underprivileged by providing food for 70 people from the Katkari community in Panchvad Panchkroshi for 30 days and distributed masks and sanitizers to Anganwadi teachers and helpers.
Our educational initiatives include the 'Apulaki' School for children with mental disabilities, which began with just five students. The school, inspired by the love and dedication of Sushma Pawar, has since grown to offer a Residential School, Early Intervention Center, and support for small-scale industries for the handicapped. The school has been affiliated with the government since 2002 and remains committed to providing a nurturing space for differently-abled children to thrive and integrate into society.
Through these diverse efforts, Sahyadri Shikshan Sanstha continues to make a lasting impact on the lives of individuals and communities, fostering a spirit of inclusion, awareness, and service
