About the NGO

The main thrust of Shakti Social Cultural and Sporting organisation has been to work as a bridge between the needy and backward people of the society and the available resources for them. We have been taking attempts to reduce the margin of exploitation and deprivation by bringing about reasonable balance in the society. It has been established many mile stones in livelihoods of people and has been working since 1993.

Shakti's work focuses on addressing the problems rooted through agricultural, educational, health, socio-economic shortfalls. Shakti undertakes projects designed to improve the wellbeing of tribal people, improve and diversify the available resources to secure livelihood options, improve water provision and sanitation, to empower women and community organisations and to strengthen the Panchayatraj Institutions.
