He elaborated, “It is not an easy task considering the number of NGOs who are not able to meet our criteria of selection and the mammoth number of NGOs. With a groundswell of support received, i2u has created a significant impact across the 12 priority causes. We have successfully raised donations by making fundraisers more fun and engaging with our Ride, Walk, Run campaign. We have also done a wonderful campaign that takes Sustainable Development Goals to the students in association with FairGaze, a leading school media.” Highlighting the importance of transparency and good governance, he added, “As of today, i2u ecosystem works with 150+ NGOs, 15+ CSR professionals, over 20 corporate houses and institutions and supported by hundreds of donors and volunteers. Transparency has been one of the important cornerstones for i2u and we pursue transparency in every aspect of the operations.”
Another highlight of the occasion came in the form of surprise news as i2u Social Foundation was bestowed with the Partner Award by Jal Shakti Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat for the support extended for the Ganga Quiz initiative by Namami Gange and executed by TREE Craze foundation.
